Centre for Management of Health Services

About the Centre

Centre for Management of Health Services (CMHS) is one of the oldest centers at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). It was set up in June 2004 in recognition of IIMA’s contributions to the health sector in the past and the felt need to strengthen the management of the health sector in the context of socio-economic developments of our country.

The overall objectives of CMHS are to address the managerial challenges in the delivery of health services to respond to the needs of different segments of our population efficiently and effectively, to build institutions of excellence in the health sector, and to influence health policies and wider environments.

Ongoing Survey on Nurses & Covid-19

Nurses are on the frontline fighting COVID-19. They are not only experiencing an increase in the volume and intensity of their work, but are also at considerable risk of work-related stress, burnout and mental health problems.

If you’re a nurse working in a covid or non-covid department in a covid or non-covid hospital, we’d like to understand your professional and mental situation of serving in the pandemic. Please help us by filling out our quick survey - THANK YOU!
