About the Department

The Contracts and Compliance Department centrally manages all procurement of services across the institute. The department is responsible for all the due diligence for vendor onboarding and engagement of external service providers. All General Financial Rules (GFR), 2017 prescribed by the Govt. of India for procurement are followed.

Brief of Services/Functions of the Department

All procurement for services for the following departments/functions are conducted

  • Information & Consumer Technology
  • Civil
  • Mechanical
  • Electricals
  • Horticulture
  • Facility
  • Communication
  • Publication departments

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Third party surveys and due diligence
  • End to end contracts and compliance support- Pre-Qualification, Technical Evaluation and Awarding Work Orders

  • Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) – Online Tendering 

  • Government e-Marketplace (GeM) - Online Tendering 

  • IIMA Portal -Offline Tendering
