Auditoriums

From the iconic RJ Matthai Auditorium named after our first full time Director to the new state of the art auditoriums in the JSW-SPP building, the institute has spaces to host large events of national and international scale

Academic Blocks, located on both the heritage and new campus, house spaces for classes, seminars, faculty offices and administrative department offices

The IIMA’s Administrative Blocks are designed to provide efficient, high tech and comfortable working environments.

Student Housing

Twenty-seven dormitories accommodate 740 students. The dorms have ten single rooms on each floor arranged around a stairway and a central courtyard. Apart from the single room dormitories there are flats for married students.

IMDC

The International Management Development Centre is a self-contained facility that combines the functions of a guest house and a venue for courses and conferences.

Faculty Housing

As the IIMA faculty has grown, the need for accommodation has surged past the original 110 housing units of the heritage campus. The recently constructed apartment block houses mean that all faculty reside on campus.

Outdoor facilities include multiple courts for tennis, volleyball, frisbee and basketball. An expansive Football field, Cricket pitch, jogging and cycling tracks make the outdoors as impressive as the classrooms

Indoor Sports

A glistening swimming pool, Squash courts, Snooker room, indoor badminton courts and a number of board game options to spend some hours away from your notes

Gymnasiums & Yoga Rooms

Whether pumping iron is your jam or you're channeling your inner serenity through yoga and meditation, the campus offers multiple gymnasiums on campus as well as yoga studios

Health & Wellness

For routine health issues and injuries the campus community consults full-time residential doctors at IIMA’s on-campus dispensary. The dispensary provides basic treatment and referrals to specialists at city hospitals when needed.

Hospitality & Utilities

The IIMA knows how precious time is and has set up all facilities so that no one has to run around off campus to get simple jobs done. The campus has its own
SBI bank branch and ATM

Accessibility for the Differently Abled

The IIMA aims to provide an enabling environment – in every sense. This has meant not only the construction of ramps and railings but high-power lighting and high contrast signage to help students with low vision. Elevators help differently-abled students use the underpass that connects the heritage and new campuses.

Prayaas is a social initiative, being run since 2003, through which the IIMA community helps underprivileged children take their first step towards a meaningful education, a joyous childhood and a better future.

PAWSIBLE

Pawsible is a students’ club that works for the interest of animals of IIM Ahmedabad. A quality about the IIMA community that will strike anyone is the love and compassion that the community shares for the animals of IIMA.
