IIM Ahmedabad has recently set up the Madan Mohanka Centre of Excellence in Case Method of Learning (MMCoECML) to strengthen the case pedagogy. The case method has been integral to IIMA’s pedagogical approach since its inception. This new Centre has been established to further that legacy through structured faculty training, support for case development and dissemination, and outreach via conferences and research. The Centre is named in honour of Mr. Madan Mohan Mohanka, PGP 1967 and Chairman, TEGA Industries - who has made significant contributions to management education and industry.

As part of its commitment to advancing case-based teaching and learning, the Centre intends to offer the Developing Excellence in Case Teaching and Writing programme annually. Management institutes and universities are encouraged to nominate faculty members interested in strengthening their case teaching and case writing capabilities for future editions.
