In the year 2025, The Indian Institute of Management Guwahati (IIM-G) has announced its official establishment and the upcoming launch of its first academic batch. Located in Guwahati, Assam, IIM-G represents a key pillar in the Government of India’s vision to enhance high-quality management education in the North-Eastern states.  

IIM Guwahati will be mentored by IIM Ahmedabad and is set to commence its academic session for the year 2026-2027.
