Agro-Economic Alerts - Centre for Management in Agriculture

Alerts

There are 12 Agro-Economic Research Centres (AERCs) and 3 Agro Economic Research Units in India which undertake problem-oriented studies associated with agriculture, animal husbandry, water management and allied areas. The Centre for Management in Agriculture (CMA) is an Agro-Economic Research Unit.

The 15 Agro-Economic Research Centres/Units regularly scan the agricultural, agro-economic and market environment in different parts of the country, and provide regular "Alerts" on the emerging critical situations and threats in the agricultural economy, and also suggest action points. These are compiled and edited by CMA.
