Business inflation expectations in India moderated notably in June 2026, with firms anticipating lower cost pressures over the coming year amid improving sales and a gradual recovery in profit margins, according to the latest Business Inflation Expectations Survey (BIES) conducted by the Misra Centre for Financial Markets and Economy at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA).
