Professor Kewal Krishan Anand worked in the Organizational Behavior Area from 7th September 1964 to 15th May 1969.

He completed his BA from the Hindu College, Delhi University in 1949. Later, he pursued an MA in Psychology from Punjab University in 1950. After working for a few years in various government departments, Prof. Anand returned to Punjab University to complete his PhD in Psychology in 1959. He completed his postdoctoral training overseas at Harvard University and at the University of Tennessee, USA.

Prof. Anand was the Chairman of Admissions at IIMA and played an integral part in designing the admissions test. Between 1969 and 1973, Prof. Anand functioned as the founding Chief Organization Manager of the HR Department at Larsen & Toubro. Later, he established his own consulting firm in Mumbai called Anand & Associates. Prof. Anand worked as an advisor to large corporations, family businesses and nonprofit organizations from 1970 to 2000.

A Fulbright Scholar and recipient of the Ford Foundation Fellowship, Prof. Anand authored and coauthored books on management consulting and quality and hospital management. Some of these include, Management Consultancy - A User Guide (1994) and Hospital Management: A New Perspective (1986).

Prof. Anand held the post of Independent Director on several boards including Aptech India, Batliboi and Co. and Gabriel Ltd. He was President of the Industrial Relations Institute of India and President of the Indian Hospital Association. Prof. Anand was also the Founder and President of the National Centre for Quality Management.

Prof. Anand was respected for his integrity and wise advice. More importantly, he was committed to the development of India. He spent a lot of his time building associations and spreading the message of management as a tool for corporate success and national development.
