Improving its score over last two years, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad has secured the 57thrank in Financial Times Executive Education Ranking (customised) 2018 for its executive education programme. According to institute officials, IIMA is also the first among Indian B-schools, followed by IIM-Bangalore. IIMA climbed up from 63rd in 2017 and 74thin 2016 while IIMB’s rank dropped to 59th from 57th in 2017 and 47th in 2016.
The two IIMs are only institutes from India in the list of top 90 institutes in the business education ranking. IESE Business School in Spain is once again ranked first for its executive education. Professor Arvind Sahay, chairperson, Executive Education, IIMA, said that the institute has scored well in parameters like teaching methods and materials, faculty, aims achieved, value for money and future use.
“We spend time to design a programme with appropriate inputs for the clients and then deliver to achieve goals for our clients at a reasonable fee. We hope to continue to replicate the score and enhance the process that has led to this outcome,” he said. He added that the institute was setting up an extension centre in Dubai.
