Talking about IIMA’s performance, in-charge director Prof Errol D’Souza said, “The institute focuses on research, consulting for organisations and government, and teaching.
This creates knowledge that is relevant and is brought into the classroom so that students are exposed to contemporary trends and develop skills that are required for them to be contributing members of society.” He added that the effectiveness of this approach by the institute was evident from the big list of IIMA alumni who have made significant contributions in the fields of professional management, government service, entrepreneurship, and the social sector.
He said, “We are grateful for this recognition and will use the opportunity to contemplate on how we can better our approach to education so as to enhance our reputation among academics and employers.”
