PGP Summer Placements 2025-2026 (Cluster-1)

The first cluster of the Summer Placement process for the PGP Class of 2027 was held on 28th October, 2025 at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The firms that participated in Cluster-1 comprised of six cohorts – “Management Consulting”, “Transformation & Operations Consulting”, “Advisory Consulting”, “Cards & Financial Advisory”, “Investment Banking & Markets”, and “PE/VC, Asset Management & Hedge Funds”
The process was conducted in hybrid mode with companies joining in through online as well as offline mode.
The cluster saw a large pool of recruiters offering more than 80 roles in the process. The top five recruiters for the cluster were Accenture Strategy (India Market Unit & Global Network), Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, and Kearney. Other prominent recruiters in the consulting domain included regular recruiters such as Alvarez & Marsal, EY Parthenon, Kepler Cannon, L.E.K. Consulting India Pvt Ltd., Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Strategy&, Vector Consulting Group and YCP Auctus among others. Goldman Sachs and Standard Chartered bank were the largest recruiters in the Investment Banking & Markets cohort. Other prominent firms in the same cohort included Avendus Capital, Bank of America, Barclays, Citibank, HSBC, JPMorganChase, and Morgan Stanley. In the PE/VC domain, we saw the participation of firms like Ares Management, Blackstone Group, Faering Capital, Gaja Capital, Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Piramal Alternatives and Premji Invest among others. American Express led the way with Cranmore Partners and Synergy Consulting in the “Cards & Financial Advisory” cohort.
We also witnessed multiple international opportunities like Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong/Singapore), HSBC (Hong Kong) and Strategy& (Middle East) among others.
Clusters 2 and 3 will be held on 31st October and 3rd November respectively.
