IIM Ahmedabad to host 2nd edition of India Strategy Conference with IIM Bangalore and ISB .
~ India Strategy Conference 2024, scheduled from December 15-18, 2024, is focused on the theme of “Strategizing in an AI-Dominated World”
~ The conference will bring together researchers, educators, and managers to a common platform for discussing issues and opportunities that organisations face with the application of AI technologies in the decision-making processes
~ In addition to six parallel tracks, the event will host a variety of pre-conference workshops and interactive sessions for professional development
December 13, 2024: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), along with the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), and the Indian School of Business (ISB), is going to host the 2nd edition of the India Strategy Conference (ISC 2024), from December 15 to 18, 2024, at the IIM Ahmedabad campus.
With the rising integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Machine Learning (ML) and data-driven techniques, in the decision-making processes of organisations, ISC 2024 is being held on the theme of “Strategizing in an AI-Dominated World”. The conference aims to bring together researchers, educators, and managers to a common platform for discussing issues, opportunities, and the transformative impact AI technologies present in the decision-making processes.
The four-day event, which is expecting a footfall of about 200 participants, will have six parallel tracks:
In addition to keynote speeches and more than 170 paper and poster presentations, the conference will host a variety of pre-conference workshops and interactive sessions for professional development. These include research methods workshops for early-stage researchers, a panel discussion of academic leaders from Indian and overseas business schools, a panel discussion of editors from top international journals, practitioner sessions by top executives to give insights on contemporary issues in the world of practice, and career talks. The conference will also feature industry leaders and experts as a part of the CII-CSO Forum Strategy Conference to be organised on December 16, 2024.
Sharing more context on ISC 2024, conference co-chairs by Professor Amit Karna and Professor Chitra Singla from IIM Ahmedabad and Professor Seung Hoon Lee from ISB said, “Through the India Strategy Conference 2024, we hope that researchers, educators, and managers will be able to discuss meaningful and forward-looking ideas around the topic of strategic management in a world that is likely to be dominated by AI.
