"I left my IT job with one mission: to make fresh, healthy drinks accessible across India. My husband Milind and I started small, with just a kiosk in a corporate office, and bootstrapped to ₹2 crore in revenue. But we lacked a roadmap to scale.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women changed that. It shifted my focus from daily operations to long-term strategy, taught us what it takes to be fundable, and shaped our values: integrity, customer centricity, and innovation.

We faced setbacks. The pandemic nearly shut us down, and we entered Shark Tank India with only a prototype and modest revenues. But the experience helped us improve, and we secured funding from Mr. Ajinkya Rahane and Chitale Bandhu.

Today, we’re receiving enquiries from the US, Singapore, and Dubai. 10,000 Women gave me the tools, network, and confidence to think beyond limits and the ability to keep playing the infinite game

“I’m what you’d call an accidental entrepreneur. After years in the corporate world, I took a break in 2018 to teach spoken English in Mumbai’s slums. Seeing the potential in underprivileged youth inspired me to create a platform to make them employable.

I began by training five youths in backend insurance work. With no hiring budgets, companies offered projects instead. Techsurance was born. Today, we’re a 175-member team across Mumbai and Pune, with 70% from tier-two cities and lower-income backgrounds.

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women program came at just the right time. While I knew operations, I needed clarity on strategy, HR, and marketing. The curriculum helped me unlearn and rebuild, and the faculty pushed me to grow as a leader.

It transformed how I see myself: not just as a founder, but as a woman building something larger than herself.”
