As part of our IIMA Leadership Conversations, the Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development (ADCLOD) announces a guest lecture titled 'Upholding Values in Public Service’. Join Professor Vishal Gupta & Professor Arun Sreekumar of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad as they speak with R. Sreelekha about the need of values in the system. ImageR. Sreelekha is the first woman IPS officer in the state of Kerala, a published author with 10 books to her credit and now a successful YouTuber. She worked in various law & order posts, police administration, anti-corruption branches including CBI, headed the Intelligence Wing, Crime Branch, Kerala Prisons 7 Fire & Rescue Services. She also headed 3 PSUs during her career stretching 33 years & 5 months. She has been awarded the police medal for meritorious services, President’s medal for distinguished services & state govt’s meritorious services award other than awards from NGOs & private institutions. She is a Chevening fellow & did her fellowship at King’s College UK on Road Safety. She writes regular columns in various magazines now. At present she is a member of the International Prison World, National Human Rights & Humanitarian Federation, India & committee on prevention of suicide of children in Kerala.
