IIM Ahmedabad is glad to announce the opening of nomination for Young Alumni Achiever's Award (YAAA) 2024, a means to acknowledge the achievements of our alumni under the age of 45, and to inspire students and the institute community.
All IIMA Alumni under the age of 45, as on March 31, 2024, are eligible to be nominated for the award. The evaluations will consider achievements and contributions since the attainment of alumni status.
The award acknowledges the achievement of alumni in the following categories:
- Corporate Leadership
- Entrepreneurship
- Academics / Research
- Social Sector / Public Service - Government / Public Administration / Politics / Social Service
- Art / Entertainment / Sports
The alumni community is invited to nominate suitable candidates, by filling out this google form, who have done exceptional work in their respective fields. Self nominations are also welcome. Nominations for the award will remain open till 29th February 2024.
Nominations that satisfy the age criteria would be valid for 3 years, including the year of first nomination.
The nominations received would be screened and evaluated in two rounds. The first round of screening is a nomination review by the Alumni and External Relations (AER) Office and Students' Alumni and External Relations Cell to ensure suitable information is available to enable evaluation. The second round of evaluations would be conducted by the YAAA Selection Committee including Dean (AER), faculty, and alumni. Final results will be announced after the Director's approval.
