Manjari Singh

Biography

Manjari Singh is a Professor in the Human Resources Management Area. She has been a member of the faculty at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad since 2000. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India, and doctorate degree in Human Resources from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, India. She has been a John Curtin Fellow of Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia.

She teaches courses related to human resource management and data analysis in the doctoral, postgraduate, and executive development programmes at IIM Ahmedabad and other institutes.

Prof. Singh has published more than forty co-authored papers in peer-reviewed international and national journals including Human Resource Management (FT-50), Human Resource Management Review, Health Policy and Planning, Journal of Personnel Psychology, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, and Journal of Entrepreneurship. She has presented papers in reputed international and national conferences and has fourteen co-authored presentations in the Academy of Management (USA) Annual Meetings.

She has done consultancy projects for government and private sector organizations including the Seventh and the Sixth Central Pay Commissions. Recently she has consulted for the Second National Judicial Pay Commission.

Prof. Singh is currently in the Editorial Board of the Human Resource Management Review.
