Maya Ganesh


Maya Ganesh an Assistant Professor of Operations Management in the area of Operations and Decision Sciences at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM A). Her major research interests are in the area of public sector operations, Socially responsible operations and food and agricultural supply chains, with focus on welfare benefit programs. She is currently working on projects related to impact of information, technology & digitisation on performance of supply chains.

Prior to joining the IIM Ahmedabad, she obtained her doctoral degree from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad; PGDM  (Manufacturing & Operations Management) from SPJIMR, Mumbai and undergraduate degree (Industrial Engineering and Management) from R V College of Engineering, Bangalore (then affiliated to VTU). Before entering academics, she worked with Cummins India Limited, Bosch Limited, IBM India and TVS Motors.
