Prof. Abhinandan K Jain (7th Dec 1945-), was associated with IIMA in various capacities for fifty-one years. He was a IIMA PGP student (1968-70), a Research Associate (1970-71), the first doctoral student to graduate from IIMA (FPM, 1971-74), faculty member in the Marketing Area (1974-2010) and finally, Adjunct Faculty at IIMA (2010-19), after his retirement in 2010. He was associated with the 3TP management development programme, wrote numerous cases and was part of many committees at IIMA. He was felicitated by former students in 2019, where a book titled The Book About You, in his honour was also released. In this hour-long interview, he recounts his life from his early days, his interest in Marketing, passion for the case method and observations on the evolution of the Institute since the 1960s.
