Abstract
Supply Chains are the key to the fight against climate change. Why? Because they generate around 60% of all carbon emissions globally. So fixing supply chain sustainability is an essential step in getting to net zero.

About the Speakers
Mr. Morten Bo Christiansen
Morten Bo Christiansen joined A.P. Moller - Maersk in 2011 where he has held several roles within strategy development and execution, and operations. He has a background as an engineer and management consultant and holds an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from The Technical University of Denmark. Since 2021 he has been leading the Decarbonisation team, which is responsible for setting the vision, developing relevant expertise and roadmaps, and enabling the execution of the path for A. P. Moller-Maersk to achieve net zero GHG emissions by 2040.
Mr. Sanjay Vasudevan
Sanjay Vasudevan leads Key Client Management and Commercial Sustainability globally for Maersk as part of Maersk’s Sales & Marketing Leadership. He is passionate about building long-term partnerships with Maersk’s largest customers worldwide and joining forces with them to drive sustainable global supply chains. In the last 2 years, Sanjay led the commercialization of Maersk EcoDelivery, the first decarbonized ocean transportation solution in the world, which has created the bedrock for Maersk to drive decarbonization of our customers’ ocean and logistics services. He also leads a global team of supply chain experts who support Maersk’s customer partners to find the most optimal and sustainable solutions for their global supply chains.
