Who can apply?
Following are the basic criteria for the application:
Holding at least a bachelor’s degree/CA/CS/ICWA/CMA or equivalent in any discipline, with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the terminal degree, awarded by any of the recognized universities.
Working Professionals and Entrepreneurs with a minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience, after completion of 3-year graduation, as on March 31, 2026. i.e., 10+2+3 years of education plus 3 years of full-time work experience OR Working Professionals and Entrepreneurs with a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience, after completion of 4-year graduation, as on March 31, 2026. i.e., 10+2+4 years of education plus 2 years of full-time work experience.
CAT/GMAT/GRE Score taken within the previous 5 years (GMAT Classic/Focus Edition exam scores and GRE exam scores are valid). The test dates shall be not prior to January 01, 2021. Alternatively, applicants can appear for Round-1 IIMA Admission Test for BPGP: BA & AI scheduled to be held on December 14, 2025.
Admission Process
The students are selected through a rigorous admissions process that includes standardized test scores and personal interviews.
The candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview based on the standardized (or IIMA Admission Test for BPGP: BA & AI) test scores. The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel of IIMA faculty members. The applicants will be selected based on criteria such as analytical ability, quality of work experience and education, and potential for professional success.
IIMA Admission Test for BPGP: BA & AI
IIMA Admission Test for BPGP: BA & AI is an online assessment test tailored for candidates who cannot apply with conventional test scores such as those from CAT, GMAT, or GRE. To opt for IIMA Admission Test for BPGP: BA & AI within the application portal,
The Test for BPGP: BA & AI will be conducted at specific exam centres across India. A list of exam centres is available in the application portal.
The format of the Test for BPGP: BA & AI shall be similar to other management aptitude tests. Test for BPGP: BA & AI duration shall be 90 minutes and shall be asked from the below mentioned three sections:
a) Quantitative Aptitude
b) Analytical Reasoning
c) Verbal Aptitude
