Tree Mode is optimized to allow you to focus on users based on how they are grouped while
Flat Mode creates a consolidated list of users and removes duplicates across communities/groups.

Note: In Tree mode, the system can distinguish between the same user who may belong to multiple communities/groups; however in Flat mode this distinction is not practical hence all group selections are marked [PARTIAL]

 

Filter Search User   

  Simply enter the name or part of the first name, last name or (screenname) of the user(s) and press the "Filter" link. Regular expressions are also supported. Filter will display the selections of interest. The users that are filtered out will not be considered for sending the message to.

Note: In Tree Mode, if a search results in no users being selected from a particular community/group, then that community/group selection is also removed (since no users of interest exist in that community/group).

Tip: Use Flat Mode if you wish to retain community/group selections and want to repeatedly search over those selections.
